QuickClipper Privacy Policy

Our commitment

This policy covers QuickClipper on iPhone and Android. QuickClipper works without an account. We don't show advertising, track you across other apps or websites, or sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.

Information stored on your device

Without signing in, your clips are stored only on your device. Secure Vault items, including passwords, codes and photos, are encrypted and stay only on your device. They are never synced or uploaded. Photos and files attached to clips stay on the device that added them.

Account (optional)

You can sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password to sync and share. We use Google Firebase Authentication, which stores your email address, display name and user ID.

Sync (optional)

When you sign in and use sync, your clips (notes, links, code snippets and checklists), folders and tags are stored in Google Firebase Cloud Firestore so they can sync across your iPhone and Android devices. Google encrypts this data in transit and at rest. Secure Vault items and attached photos and files are not uploaded.

Sharing (optional)

If you share a list, note or folder, only the people you invite with a code can access it. They can see and edit the shared item and see your display name. You can leave a shared item, and owners can remove people or stop sharing.

Shared lists you own remain available to invited people after you delete your account. Content you shared may also remain with other people as their own copy, including when you stop sharing and choose to leave everyone a copy.

On-device features

Writing tools (AI) and text recognition from photos (OCR) run on your device. The text processed by these features is not uploaded.

Keyboard

On Android and iPhone, the QuickClipper keyboard only inserts clips you tap. It does not record, store or send what you type.

Notifications and reminders

Notifications and reminders are scheduled locally on your device.

Crash reports and security

We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs, diagnostic information and device identifiers so we can find and fix bugs. We use Firebase App Check to help protect our services from abuse.

Purchases

QuickClipper Pro subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store and Google through Google Play. We do not receive or store payment card details.

Deleting your data

You can delete individual clips in the app at any time. To delete your account, choose Settings > Delete account. This turns off sync, immediately deletes your synced clips and folders from Firebase, and then deletes your account.

You can also email contact@nirmitatechnologies.com or use our data and account request page. Account deletion requests are completed within 30 days. Any remaining backup copies are removed within 90 days.

Deleting your account does not remove shared lists that remain with invited people or copies of shared content retained by others, as described above.

Data retention

We keep synced data while your account is active. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days. Account deletion and backup removal follow the timeframes above.

Children

QuickClipper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.

Third-party services

We use Google Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Crashlytics and App Check, as well as Apple App Store and Google Play. You can read more in Firebase's privacy information, Apple's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows the current version.
